Origami Art

| Oviana Rabella |

I had the pleasure of discovering Oviana at a recent fashion show in Singapore. The minute her models came out, I was in awe of her work. The bright colours and accents immediately had me & I knew I HAD to work with her. Oviana’s work is very ‘old school meets new’ with structured pieces that accentuate most figures. Seeing as some of her pieces are a little loud, I wanted to work on a series with her to play around with them and mix her pieces up to see how they’d look with every day items you may already have in your wardrobe.

This is originally how the outfit comes, an embellished turquoise skirt with an oversized shirt tucked into it. I then paired it with this amazing pink flamenco number from Runaway The Label, that is a little too tight around my hips. I didn’t think I would be able to wear it out again, but with the skirt wrapped around, it gives it an unexpected flair that I love.
