| East Side Brunching |
Dutch Colony Coffee Co. finally brings brunching to the East. I now don’t have to drive 20 minutes to get to some pancakes. I know, first world problems.
Combining their ‘Old World’ roasting techniques, DCCC is predominantly famous for their state of the art coffee making technology. Have I mentioned they serve most of their brews in conical flasks, which tickles the scientist in me. Their coffee beans come from all over the world and you can specify the brewing method you desire. Another thing that got me excited was their Steampunk MOD Machine. I definitely need to recreate this using some of my lab supplies.
Breakfast was great, with your standard typical brunch foods & pastries to choose from in their display counter.
Overall, DCCC is decorated in such a way to give the place a cosy, homely, yet industrial feel, which is nice. Not the best brunch spot in my opinion – Im more of a Common Man fan, but like I said: When you live in Eastern Singapore & want pancakes on a Sunday & are too lazy to drive, this is quite convenient.
