In part 3 of my Maldivian escapade, Ill take you through all the activities that the six senses offered.
Being a true yogi at heart, I was more than excited to see that the six senses had a really active yoga centre where they did everything from basic yoga to aerial classes.
The waters in the Laamu Atoll were crystal clear, as you would expect. Either start your snorkelling from your room where theres a ladder at the sun deck and from the outdoor shower, or you can start from the anywhere around the hotel with a stairway into the ocean. Be sure not to step on the coral though!
Private Sandbank Cocktails
My husband surprised me by whisking me away via speed boat to a private sandbank where we watched the sunset and sipped on our favourite cocktails.
GM’s Sunset Cocktails
The Six Senses has an evening where they invite hotel guests to mingle with the staff and get acquainted with the services and activities they offer while sipping on cocktails and appetizers and watching a magical sunset. They dig holes in the sand and set them up with sofas and candles so that the guest can make the most of their experience.
Enjoy a lobster BBQ with the freshest seafood and stunning views on one of your evenings. It was definitely one of the best destination dinners Ive experienced.
All in all we had such a magical time (I mean look at that sky) & would like to thank the Six Senses Laamu for hosting us in such a magical place. Check out our video for more!
